Class Action Settlement Information

San Francisco County Superior Court, Case No. CGC-15-545485

This class action was filed on behalf of “Customer Service Representatives” and/or “Customer Support Specialists” who worked for Eat24 at its facility located in San Bruno, CA, at any time during the period April 24, 2011 through April 1, 2015. The workers seek damages for alleged missed meal periods and rest breaks and derivative claims based on missed breaks. Defendants deny that they violated any laws and assert that the workers were paid for all hours worked, and took all of the breaks to which they were entitled.

The Court has granted preliminary approval of the settlement and authorized that notice of the proposed settlement be provided to the putative settlement class. The Court has set a hearing for final approval of the proposed settlement for November 16, 2016. Relevant documents can be viewed below:
